After such a crappy day yesterday it was nice to have today off. I actually did quite a bit, I got all the washing done and most of it dry , folded, and put away. I vacuumed all the carpets and the floors, and raked up all the pine needles in the back yard, but I had a lot of me time as well. I watched some television, read my book, and checked out some videos on YouTube.
I also saw my doctor today and had a blood test to check on my diabetes, and to check for prostate trouble. The doctor also filled out a form that I need to get my driver’s licence renewed due to my diabetes and high blood pressure. He got me to do an eye chart test with and without my glasses, I passed with flying colours, he does not feel I need my glasses to drive. My blood pressure is spot on as well, and he is happy with the way I am controlling my diabetes, he even thought I had lost some weight, but he didn’t check.
After the appointment I drove to Port Adelaide to lodge the form he had completed but could not get a car park, every man and his dog, and the neighbour’s dog, were in Port Adelaide so I drove home.
Tomorrow is a big day, I have the AGM of my most demanding corporation, not demanding in that they want a lot done, just demanding in the time it takes to manage them. Hardly a day goes by without something that needs attending to, and that something usually takes some time.
I will need my wits about me tomorrow so had best hit the sack. Goodnight and thank you for reading.
